South Korea's department stores and shopping malls are offering pet lifestyle shops to attract the so-called ‘pet-fams’ or families with pets.
Among them is Cocco Square, a 4-floor lifestyle shop for pets, which opened at Lotte Premium Outlet Time Villas in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province on Sept. 10.
Cocco Square offers pet restaurants, hotels, kindergartens, a spa, an outdoor park, and education facilities in its over 1,270 square meter facility.
The Lotte Department Store in Hwaseong opened a Dongtan outlet in August featuring pet restaurants, salons, and outdoor playgrounds.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Premium Outlet SPACE ONE in Gimpo opened up a pet playground dubbed Heendy House in a 1,320 square-meter space on the roof.
