“Castlevania” season 3 is finally coming back which is good news to its fans. This adult animation was based on video game franchises that are considered as the oldest one in history. In fact, its very first title was launched in September 1986 and the latest came out in 2014 where 29 titles were offered to the gamers.
The game has a lot of storylines and characters and this was the inspiration for the producers when they created the “Castlevania” animated series. The first season premiered in July 2017 and although it only has four episodes, the viewers immediately fell in love with it so a second season was made and it was released in October 2018 and this time, with more stories of eight episodes.
Release date
When the show ended, Netflix did not let the fans wait for too long and announced in November 2018 that it has ordered “Castlevania” season 3 and it will be coming with more episodes. However, it took more than a year before the animation returns.
On Feb. 5, Netflix informed the fans that finally, “Castlevania” season 3 is arriving on March 5. This new installment is coming with 10 episodes which makes it the longest season so far. As usual, all of the stories will be dropped in one go so everyone can binge-watch and even finish the whole season in one sitting.
Official synopsis
Vlad Dracula Tepes declared war against humans after his wife died at the hands of the church. He gathered the demons and his generals and carried out his plan to wipe out humanity so that Earth will be a peaceful paradise again.
But then, there is a hindrance that makes it hard for Dracula to annihilate human beings and it is Trevor Velmont, came from the Belmont clan and left as the only surviving member of the disgraced family. Together with Sypha Belnades and Adrian "Alucard" Tepes, he is trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of grief-maddened Dracula and his vampire war council. What makes this interesting is the fact that Alucard is Dracula’s son.
Cast
Finally, as per Collider, “Castlevania” season 3 will be spearheaded by Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades and James Callis as Alucard. Graham McTavish will still be the villain, Dracula the vampire lord.
