“Stranger Things” season 4 is very much anticipated although it’s only been half a year since Netflix dropped the previous season. The sci-fi drama’s exciting plot draws the viewers to the story so it is understandable why they want the next episodes to arrive fast.
With the obvious popularity of this series, it is easy for the leading streaming provider to renew “Stranger Things” season 4, just two months after it released the third installment. As usual, the renewal announcement was made through a teaser that was uploaded online in September last year.
Show’s conclusion is up?
The Independent reported that “Stranger Things” season 4 is already the end of the series. The publication wrote that the original plan was to produce five seasons but they decided to just extend the fourth installment by diving the episodes into two parts.
It was not mentioned how many stories that this season will offer. Then again, it was said that while it sounds convincing, this news is not yet confirmed.
Plot predictions and theories
“Stranger Things” season 4 will not be happening in Hawkins and it was suggested that the next location could be in Russia. One of the theories stated that this means that there could be another Lab and children like Eleven are also being observed and studied there.
Moreover, this also brings up the fate of Hopper. It was said that he is alive and likely to be in Russia as well. As per Screen Rant, he could be the American person that the Russian authorities have been referring too. Plus, he could have already met some of the Russian subjects too if he was indeed transported there when the machine that sealed the passage to the Upside Down exploded in the finale of “Stranger Things” season 3.
Ross Duffer, co-creator of “Stranger Things” seemed to have confirmed the Russia theory when he told Entertainment Weekly, “At the end of season two, we knew about Billy. We knew that the Russians were going to come in.”
Finally, “Stranger Things” season 4 has no official release date yet since the cast and crew are still filming at this time.
