South Korea's CJ Olive Young collaborates with Meta Platforms Inc. for advanced digital marketing. The partnership aims for overseas expansion and innovative ad campaigns, leveraging Facebook and Instagram to amplify brand awareness.
Likewise, CJ Olive Young and Meta will cooperate for marketing innovation via expansion overseas and collaborative ads. The former, a leading health and beauty store chain in South Korea, confirmed on Tuesday, Aug. 22, that it secured a deal with the American social media and tech company.
According to The Korea Economic Daily, the contract states that Meta will help CJ Olive Young reach a wider audience and convert this into new sales. The American firm will use Facebook's ads to fulfill this goal. With millions of users, it is hoped that CJ Olive Young will soon reach more people and make them aware of the brand.
Moreover, Meta will support CJ Olive Young further in its business development overseas. The company will also help the latter run digital ads in foreign markets. Together, they will offer Instagram Rills' content creation consulting and create short ad materials for the brand.
The companies hope that this partnership will be beneficial to both sides. They expect to achieve their respective objectives while also bolstering their position in the digital marketing space.
Meanwhile, Korea's IT Daily reported that CJ Olive Young and Meta will focus on promoting digital marketing innovation with a focus on the tech company's marketing solution called "Cooperative Advertising." This digital solution helps brands carry out effective marketing in external sales channels outside their own physical and online shopping platforms.
"We are delighted to further strengthen our partnership with Olive Young, which has maintained a close collaborative relationship, on a company-wide level," Choi Young, Meta E-Commerce's general manager, said in a statement.
