Burger King is now offering the Guacamole Crunch King at its locations in Mexico and South America, which it claims to provide a "taste of another planet."
The burger contains grilled meat, guacamole, crispy bacon, and melted cheese.
The availability of the Guacamole Crunch King in some of its South American locations would vary by country.
According to Burger King, it is very important to remain at the forefront and continue innovating with unique flavors and national ingredients of the highest quality, which their guests like.
While Burger King's limited-time-offers from outside of the US do not usually make it to the chain's home country, Burger King offering the Guacamole Crunch King seems like a logical exception.
Americans have gone crazy for guacamole and have partly fueled Chipotle's rise. Their appetite for avocados, a key ingredient in guacamole, has risen in the past two decades.
While Americans consumed a little more than 1 billion avocados in 2000, that number has since exploded to nearly 5 billion in 2018.
