Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have been constantly rumored getting back together for years. None of these claims actually panned out. But the reports have become more relentless, especially after the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star reportedly attended the “Friends” alum’s 50th birthday party.
One of the most recent Pitt-Aniston reports came from Life & Style after its source claimed that they went for a second date after the said party in February. The two purportedly had dinner at an unnamed restaurant in Malibu. “After dinner, they went on a short walk, undetected by prying eyes. That’s when they kissed. It wasn’t a make-out session, just a nice tender kiss,” the same insider added (via Gossip Cop).
The cover of the Life & Style issue that contained the story included a picture of Pitt and Aniston seemingly together while going out for a walk just like the source described. However, Gossip Cop called out the report saying the image was “fake.”
The fact-checking celeb news outlet also reached out to Aniston’s representative who ultimately denied that the actress has gone on a couple of dates with Pitt. Gossip Cop reported that the above-mentioned story was “entirely untrue,” per the actress’ spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly also reported earlier this month that Aniston maintains communication with Pitt and his mother after their reunion at her 50th birthday bash. “Jen and Brad are still in touch and speak, but there still isn’t anything going on romantically between them,” the source clarified.
Various sources told reputable celeb news outlets that Pitt was, indeed, at Aniston’s party. PEOPLE’s insider said, “They hugged and chatted for a bit, but Jen was busy making sure all of her other guests had an amazing time.”
Reports have it that Pitt and Aniston’s first ever date happened in 1998. The Hollywood superstars only made it official in 1999 after attending the Emmy Awards together. The two got married in July 2000 but announced their separation in early 2005.
