People in Konoha have yet to fully digest everything that Amado has revealed, but it appears that another action-packed fight is happening in “Boruto” chapter 46. Aside from the likely plot, the confirmed release date of the next installment is also a good reason to celebrate.

Boruto’ chapter 46 release date

The manga series is released on a monthly basis, and it rarely skips its schedule. But in previous years, fans have known the manga used to take a break that coincides with Japan’s Golden Week holiday. The good news is it does not appear to be the case this year, and there will be no delays for “Boruto” chapter 46.

A good example was the release date of chapter 35 last year. Instead of being available on May 20, 2019, it was released on June 10 that year. That is over a month after chapter 34 and not on the usual 20th of the month release date.

Fans believed at the time that the hiatus was due to the Golden Week holiday in Japan, which happens every early May. Meanwhile, public celebrations this year have likely been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, there were previous announcements of delays for several manga titles due to the public health crisis. Fortunately for fans of the Naruto universe, both instances do not seem to affect “Boruto” chapter 46, and it is confirmed to be out next month on Wednesday, May 20.

Boruto’ chapter 46 predictions, spoilers

Not having to endure a long hiatus this year will be much appreciated when fans realize how much action could take place in “Boruto” chapter 46. The fight between Kashin Koji and Jigen has finally started and will be further tackled in next month’s installment.

Furthermore, this is not just a typical fight because a huge mystery still shrouds Kashin’s background and motives. What fans only know for now is that Kashin was “created” solely for the purpose of killing Jigen. This says plenty about the future of the series. First, the theory that he is Jiraiya is getting more unlikely. Second, another person with greater motives is working against the Otsutsuki clan. Hopefully, the latter would be part of Amado’s revelations in “Boruto” chapter 46.

Amado has started spilling the beans to Naruto, Sasuke, and Shikamaru in exchange for asylum in Konoha, and it appears that his information has all been very helpful and legitimate. But he still has plenty more to say, especially about the karma seal. It is not far-fetched to expect “Boruto” chapter 46 to be a mix of another information dump and action scenes between Kashin and Jigen.
