Early teasers for “Boruto” chapter 45 confirmed that the battle between Kashin Koji and Jigen would officially start in the upcoming installment. While Jigen already proved his combat prowess, several factors might affect his chances to win.
‘Boruto’ chapter 45 spoilers: Kashin Koji attacks Jigen
The fight between Kashin and Jigen has been a long time coming since the former declared his intention of killing the Kara leader several chapters ago. But a teaser for the weekly magazine that will publish “Boruto” chapter 45 confirmed that the said battle would finally start soon.
A preview of VJump magazine’s June issue, to be released in Japan on April 21, has been shared and translated by Organic Dinosaur. One of the captions reads, “Meanwhile, a fight breaks out within Kara – It’s Kashin Koji VS Jigen!?”

Since Kashin deduced that Jigen has returned to the Kara hideout after facing Naruto and Sasuke, the masked character made his intentions of killing his leader very clear. However, the reason for his plan is still a mystery. Hopefully, while Kashin and Jigen go into action some panels of “Boruto” chapter 45 would be dedicated to explaining Kashin’s motivations.
It is also interesting to know why Kashin is hell-bent on killing Jigen. Kashin is a very mysterious character. His backstory, like most members of Kara, remains unknown but his presence in the manga has since sparked theories that he could be Jiraiya. That theory still sounds far-fetched, but it has survived for a long time now. Whether or not that is accurate, the clues might be provided in “Boruto” chapter 45.
Jigen, being an Otsutsuki vessel through the karma seal, dominated in the fight against Naruto and Sasuke. But Kashin will be attacking him even before he regains 10 percent of his strength. Previous chapters also emphasized that no one is around to provide backup further suggesting that Kashin might have the upper hand in “Boruto” chapter 45.
‘Boruto’ chapter 45 release date
Kashin and Jigen’s fight is not the only thing likely happening in “Boruto” chapter 45. The next installment is also likely to pick up from the latest surprise in the manga that was Amado wanting to defect to Konoha.
“Boruto” chapter 45 will be released on April 20. Fans outside Japan can read the latest installments through the official websites and mobile apps of Shonen Jump and Manga Plus.
