Orochimaru has always been one of the most troublesome antagonists in the “Naruto” universe and it would appear that he will be bringing this trademark attitude in “Boruto” Episode 73. It would seem that the source material’s primary antagonist will be causing some mischief in the next generation of adventures. This will also serve to cement the Mitsuki arc as one of the show’s most important yet.
In a preview clip for “Boruto” Episode 73, it is revealed that Orochimaru has come back to the Leaf Village to wreak havoc. Although it isn’t really known yet what form this will take or if it’s even intentional on his part. The snake-based ninja is not exactly known for controlling his minions very well. If he ordered Mitsuki to abandon his duties, though, this is a fairly serious offense.
This is why Boruto is now scrambling desperately so that he will find his friend sooner than the other ninjas can. At least he will be less likely to attack first and ask questions later. “Boruto” Episode 73 will reveal how Naruto’s son will deal with Orochimaru since the two will meet in the episode.
As Comicbook.com notes, meeting Orochimaru is going to be a complicated affair. The last time this ninja appeared, it was in order to aid in the fight against Uchiha Madara to end his ambitions of putting the whole world in a spell. “Boruto” Episode 73 should shed some light as to what he has been up to all this time and what he plans to do with Mitsuki.
“Boruto” Episode 73 will also be the episode where Boruto and Sarada will learn about the history of their friend. It’s likely that this will have a major impact on their views of their team member, but it’s less likely that they will give up over it. Only time will tell when “Boruto” Episode 73 airs on Sept. 13.
