It would seem that fans who have been awaiting the release date announcement of “Borderlands 3” will not have to wait long. Recent developments with regards to the upcoming game have revealed that it might just come out this year. This is if the details in the recently leaked investors report by Take-Two Interactive is anything to go by.
As TNM reports, an investors report that was leaked online placed the probable release window of “Borderlands 3” within the fiscal year of 2019. This coincides with other rumors that have been going around, which place the game’s release anywhere between April 2019 and early 2020. Admittedly, it is a huge window, but that’s the best that analysts can do right now.
In any case, there have also been reports about recurring characters making an appearance in “Borderlands 3” that include Tiny Tina. The details with regards to the characters that the players could choose from have also been released. So far, it would seem that gamers can play as a Soldier, Siren, Assassin, or Hunter if they want.
Each of these classes will naturally have their own unique abilities and qualities. They will also have different personalities, though, fans can rest assured that they will still be twisted individuals. “Borderlands 3” would not be a real addition to the franchise if the playable characters suddenly started acting like good guys.
Good news for those who still have “Borderlands 2”; it would seem that a DLC is in the works that could tie the game to “Borderlands 3.” This would be an excellent move if it is true since it could provide continuity between the two titles.
On that note, the story for “Borderlands 3” has yet to be revealed and there have been no leaks on this matter. This might be for the best since it could mean more pleasant surprises for the fans.
