The season 4 finale for “Blindspot” really left fans in a tough spot in that they don’t know exactly how this development is going to go. On the one hand, everyone but Jane (Jaimie Alexander) appears to have been killed by a drone strike. On the other, there is still the many mysteries surrounding the character’s origins and characteristics. Fortunately, “Blindspot” Season 5 is coming, and it is promising to wrap everything up neatly with a bow.
Simply put, the cliffhanger for the show’s fourth season will be resolved in the final run, Deadline reports. From the start, “Blindspot” Season 5 will also be quite the firecracker of a series finale. It will first feature a time jump of two months, which trim the fat and will leave room for only the meat. This is going to make the plot even juicier.
This is exactly as it should be, as well, since “Blindspot” Season 5 will feature 13 episodes. The writers will need to provide a satisfying conclusion during that time by answering all, or at least most, of the questions remaining. Chief among them are the tattoos that Jane has.
Even now, fans are still not really sure about the finer details of that particular feature of the character. What do they actually mean and where did they really come from? These are just some of the questions that are promised to be answered when “Blindspot” Season 5 rolls around. Fans will want to look out for this one, as well, because it will be Jane against the entire US government.
What really makes “Blindspot” Season 5 so exciting is how the show might actually go all “Mission Impossible.” It might just be Jane against everyone, and this presents a unique opportunity to really showcase what she can do. With the final season getting a green light, fans might see its return in 2020.
