NBC's conspiracy-laden crime drama left fans hanging with the sudden Jane-to-Remi reversal in the last season's finale. It seems that Remi Briggs (Jaimie Alexander) is now in the right place to destroy the FBI from within when “Blindspot” season 4 makes its way on the air.

The unexpected face-heel turn of the show's lead actress and primary love interest of Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) may have some fans wondering if the show's cast and crew are wholly committed to turning one of the show's main protagonists into a primary antagonist for “Blindspot” season 4. Jaimie Alexander recently tweeted a picture of the show's main characters released by NBC for season 4.

The photo seems to be highlighting the eventual confrontation that Weller and Briggs will be having in “Blindspot” season 4.

The show's executive producer, Martin Gero, mentions that fans should expect Remi to be heartless and manipulative as she has regained her old memories and retains none of the memories during her time as Jane. For those who were fans of the Jane and Remi couple, this may be particularly heartbreaking news. Gero also mentions that the sudden return of Jane's Remi personality is also a chance for Jaimie Alexander to show off her acting chops.

If the potential drama between Weller and Brigss fighting each other is not enough to amp up fans, TV Line recently released a quick report that “Blindspot” season 4 is currently casting for a role named Dolan. According to TVLine, the character will be a fixer who is essential to an organization who will pose a threat to the FBI in the upcoming installment.

Fans of the show who cannot wait to find out what Jane-turned-Remi is capable of and what role Dolan will be playing in the upcoming installment can look forward to “Blindspot” season 4 airing its premiere episode on Oct. 12.
