Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly planning to apply their lovely chemistry to their music. The couple is, once again, rumored working on a joint album.
Music fans might be wondering how can this be a possibility since Shelton and Stefani are known for completely different genres. But it is important to note that the couple has had some collaborations such as Stefani’s Christmas record “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” that currently has over 4.7 million views on YouTube.
However, HollywoodLife hinted that Stefani and Shelton could be working on a bigger project for 2019. The couple is rumored to release, not just another record, but an entire album filled with songs they wrote and sang together. Valentine’s Day is up next month and it would be a timely release for the rumored album but the same report only said it might happen “in the nearest of futures.”
“Gwen would like to have different types of music on the album, so both of their fans would be satisfied. She is open to record country songs with Blake or even write some more fun pop songs and get Blake to stretch out of his comfort zone,” an insider for HollywoodLife added.
Aside from song collabs, fans have also seen Shelton and Stefani crash each other's live concerts for surprise performances. So it should not be so shocking if they, indeed, come up with a joint album as soon as 2019.
However, Gossip Cop reviewed the report and called it a bluff. The fact-checking news outlet said there is a possibility for Shelton and Stefani to release more songs together but they were “told” that a joint album is not in the pipeline.
Stefani and Shelton confirmed their relationship in 2015. It was the same year they got divorced from their respective ex-spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert. But it was clear among fans that their relationship is in no way related to the causes of the separations.
