“Better Call Saul” season 5 is on its way back to TV and the viewers just can’t wait for they have been waiting for like eternity. When the show returns, it is already expected that Jimmy McGill’s character will be getting more closer to his “Breaking Bad” character of Saul Goodman.
While most fans already know about this fact, Bob Odenkirk who is playing McGill and Goodman, shared more details about what will happen to his character. To be more exact, the actor dropped hints about Jimmy McGill’s fate and it is quite gloomy.
Jimmy’s fate in season 5
“Better Call Saul” season 5 will be the ultimate point of Jimmy McGill’s transformation from someone gentle to a bad guy. It was said that this transition has actually been happening for years and the fifth installment is just the time that his full transformation is going to be realized.
Odenkirk further said that since the beginning, they already know what will happen to Jimmy McGill because, since season 1, they have been stirring the story in that direction where he will transform to Saul Goodman. Thus, it didn’t come as a surprise.
McGill has always been good and always leaning on the right path as he wanted to be a respectable gentleman. But then, the actor revealed that his role in “Better Call Saul” season 5 will be disappointing because things are not looking good for McGill.
Odenkirk promised a great drama this season
Bob spoke with Deadline and he said that “Better Call Saul” season 5 is the best installment out of all the seasons and this is why everyone should not miss it. “It’s the best season we’ve ever done, it’s going to blow your mind, and I’m not kidding about either of those things,” he relayed. I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s just shattering in every direction, and I love it.”
In any case, “Better Call Saul” season 5 may come out earlier than expected. This is because, the cast and crew previously revealed that they have completed the scenes already which means that the drama is now in post-production. If AMC will not release it this year, the most likely release date is early 2020.
