Ben Affleck's recent relapse in alcohol addiction has been hitting headlines ever since the “Argo” star was spotted being brought to a rehabilitation center in Malibu, California by his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Affleck's recent episode is his third public fight against alcoholism since the early 2000's but fans can be assured of the actor's recovery.

Ben Affleck's younger brother, Casey Affleck, recently talked with ET during “The Old Man And The Gun” press day at Viceroy L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills. The younger Affleck mentions that the Affleck family has a long history of alcoholism and addiction stretching all the way back to his and Ben Affleck's grandparents. Still, Casey Affleck mentions that there is hope for Ben Affleck as the two brothers' own father, who was also an alcoholic, has been sober for about 30 years. Casey Affleck himself mentions being sober for around six years.

The younger Affleck also mentions that Ben Affleck's fight with alcoholism will definitely affect not just himself but his family as well. This gives Ben Affleck more reason to work towards sobriety as he has his children as well as Jennifer Garner to inspire him to fight against alcoholism. Casey Affleck also mentions that thankfully, Ben Affleck has the resources, time, and support system to get him through his latest fight against alcoholism.

Jennifer Garner has also been beside Affleck in his recovery ever since bringing him to the Malibu rehabilitation center. The former “Alias” star has been committed to Affleck's recovery knowing that having Affleck around their children is important for their development, with Affleck needing to commit to sobriety to ensure that the children are safe when around him.

Hopefully, Jennifer Garner can look forward to Ben Affleck finishing his recovery and committing to sobriety so that the former husband and wife can go back to their careers and co-parenting their children.
