BTS is currently airing its variety show, and the previous episode was made more fun to watch because the idol group has famous guests. Online gaming is one of the popular past times in South Korea and it has produced really talented gamers who represent the country in international games.
BTS’ very first guest in their show
In the most recent episode, BTS was also excited to have the five superstar gamers in their show. This was also a historic moment because the band never had a guest in their program. Thus, the 114th episode marked the day the seven members welcomed guests.
As per The Korea Herald, the famous gamers that include Lee “Faker” Sang Hyeok, Lee “Effort” Sang Ho, Park “Teddy” Jin Sung, Mun “Cuzz” Uchan, and Kim “Canna” Chang Dong appeared on “BTS Run!” The two teams competed in a variety of games and gamers even exhibited their unknown talents and specialties.
It was a remarkable day because the two teams are known worldwide in their respective fields. Both groups are world-class who are recognized on the global stage for their talents and expertise. The fun part was to see the gamers singing and dancing too, and fans really had a great time watching the episode.
“It was quite an experience and honor to be the first official guests on ‘Run BTS!’ especially being able to meet them in person and share each other’s interests,” Faker said when the show is about to end. “It might have been a short time, but it was awesome for us as some of the cultural leaders of Korea came together.”
Some of the members like V, Jimin, and Jungkook are avid gamers. In one of BTS interviews, they once said that the T1 team is their favorite, and they really admire Faker.
The collaboration between the gamers and BTS was well-received, and in fact, it already earned more than 300 million likes and has over 4 million views.
