BTS’ new projects and activities for this year have been announced by their agency, Big Hit Entertainment. Early this week, the company held a meeting sorted out its plans for the band that will be implemented throughout 2020.

Big Hit’s new plans

Soompi reported that Lenzo Yoon, Big Hit’s Co-CEO, stated that they acknowledge that fans are a big part of their success and described them as their business’ “core value” and “center of the music industry.” And because of this, they have laid out plans that will enhance the fan experience and make each moment enjoyable. Big Hit is also aiming to make things more convenient for BTS fans, especially when buying items related to their favorite group.

Some of the projects that Big Hit will launch include BTS-themed hotels, exhibits, and more pop-up stores near the concert venues. Concert tour package was also suggested for the convenience of the fans. Also, BTS’ agency will set up delivery systems in Japan and the U.S. so fans can easily purchase merchandise in the same way that they are sold in South Korea.

“Based on our various attempts and experiences and cases of success, we will take a modular approach to our business model to go beyond the Big Hit labels and collaborate with even more artists in Korea and abroad,” the publication quoted Yoon as saying. “As the first example of this, Pledis Entertainment’s group SEVENTEEN is joining WeVerse.”

BTS as their fans’ language teachers

Furthermore, Bang Shi Hyuk shared that they are expanding the company, and as part of it, they will launch a BTS-themed drama. He said that RM, Jin, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga are also set to have a program where they will teach their international fans how to speak the Korean language. As per Teen Vogue, this will simply be called “Learn Korean with BTS,” and it will be released in March.

Meanwhile, prior to these announcements, Big Hit already confirmed that BTS is set to release its newest album titled “Map of the Soul: 7” on Feb. 21. The 7-member boy group will also embark on their world tour that will commence in April with Seoul as the starting point before they travel to the U.S., Europe, and Asian countries.
