B.I recently volunteers in delivering coal briquettes to families that need them. It was learned that the former IKON member was not supposed to be in the activity but he volunteered to take part in it.

Han Bin volunteers with fans

As per Soompi, the charity work was organized by B.I’s fans and after learning about this, he volunteered. Han Bin also heard that his fans were having difficulties finding volunteers to distribute the coal briquettes due to the pandemic, so even if it was not in his schedule, he went to help them.

Needless to say, the fans were really surprised and surely, B.I’s presence made the activity not just fun but memorable too. The volunteer work took place on Dec. 23 and he also added more to his fans’ efforts by donating 10,000 face masks to be given out to the needy.

This is not the first time that Han Bin donated face masks. In February, he did this as well and donated some cash as well. His donations amounted to KRW200 million.

Han Bin’s agency, IOK Company that appointed him as an executive director in October, also donated a separate KRW300 million or about $271,000 to the NGO World Vision to help. With his charity and voluntary works, B.I said that he is actually embarrassed for the public to know about his activities.

“I’m embarrassed to talk about my voluntary work, but there are many people around us who still need a warm helping hand from others,” Soompi quoted him as saying. “It is true that these are more difficult and cold times due to COVID-19, but I hope that it is at times like these that we share our warmth with one another.”

B.I’s comeback to the music

In any case, it was also hinted that B.I may be making his comeback in the music scene. His agency admitted that they have been discussing the possibility for the ex-IKON leader to return to the entertainment world.

“We are considering the critical attitudes of the public as well as the COVID-19 pandemic as we decide on the timing,” a source from IOK stated. “This can be interpreted to mean that he is preparing for his return.”

However, the company clarified that it is still not certain if B.I will return as a soloist or part of a group. It was added that it is also possible that he will not be on the stage but serve as a producer instead. B.I left IKON in June 2019 after he got involved in a controversy involving drug use.
