‘America’s Next Top Model’ cycle 23’s episode 3, titled “Make Your Mark,” will feature the girls as they undergo their signature transformations and prepare for an imminent nude photo shoot.
The brief synopsis for episode 3 posted on TV Guide reads, “The judges choose signature looks for each model, but some ladies aren't happy with their makeovers. Later, Ashley encourages the contestants to feel comfortable in their own skin as they get ready for a nude-photo shoot.”
It seems that the incoming episode will follow the girls as they undergo transformations chosen specifically by the judges but it doesn’t seem that things will work out too well for some of the models.
The American reality television series always featured a segment where the contestants receive special makeovers. Some models end up with a totally drastic change in style, which leaves them shocked and uncomfortable. Meanwhile, judge Ashley Graham will also be helping the girls prepare for an imminent nude photo shoot.
In the preceding episode, titled “Lights, Camera, Catwalk,” the contestants received runway training from former model and ‘Canada’s Next Top Model’ judge Stacey McKenzie. According to the recap on Buddy TV, Rita Ora sent them over to Harlem to practice their struts, in which McKenzie told some of them that they needed a lot of work.
McKenzie revealed that the goal of their practice was to take runway walks to the next level since modern shows require movement as opposed to staying upright and walking in a straight line. The women were then split into two groups to compete in a “walk off” challenge.
The girls then participated in their very first fashion show the following day. They had to do a photo shoot where they would fall off the runway and into the arms of some male models. By the end of the episode, Justine Biticon was eliminated.
‘America’s Next Top Model’ cycle 23’s episode 3, titled “Make Your Mark,” is scheduled to air on VH1 on December 26, 2016. The 23rd cycle premiered on the network following a cancellation by The CW last October 2015. The series revival follows the original format of an all-female contest and is hosted by singer, actress, and entrepreneur Rita Ora in replacement of Tyra Banks.
