Indian bitcoin exchange Coinsecure launches bitcoin trading app for Android

Indian bitcoin exchange Coinsecure has launched a real-time mobile trading application for Android users, in a move to target India’s growing mobile user base.

The real-time bitcoin exchange application is simple and easy for the beginners to use and enables users to buy, sell, send, receive and accept bitcoin in an easy way. With the app, users can place their bids, withdraw and deposit funds, check pending orders, among others with the click of a button. Coinsecure’s app also displays live order books, as reported by Finance Magnets.

“With over 190 million smartphone users in India, putting a technology so disruptive like Bitcoin in their hands is a win – win situation,” Mohit Kalra, CEO and founder of Coinsecure said.

Launched in 2015, Coinsecure’s exchange is a real-time live spot trading exchange with fully open order books. In addition to bitcoin exchange, it provides customers with a merchant payment gateway, a variety of wallet services, and a public API.

The company recently partnered with a global money transfer network OKLink in a move to bring remittances through blockchain technology to Indian citizens. It also collaborated with Netki earlier this year, allowing its bitcoin wallet users to create their own wallet names.

“Coinsecure strives to ensure that users can retain a stellar experience across all platforms. The desktop web was our first build. A mobile app for multiple devices is the next step in bringing Bitcoin to India”, Benson Samuel, CTO and co-founder said.
