Dr. Christopher Preston is a professor of philosophy and a research fellow at the Program on Ethics and Public Affairs at the University of Montana He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Oregon (Eugene, OR), an M.A. in environmental ethics from Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO), and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Durham in the UK.
Dr. Preston's areas of interest include: Environmental Ethics in the Anthropocene, Feminist Epistemology, and the ethics of emerging technologies
He has published a number of books and papers in value theory, environmental epistemology, the ethics of emerging technologies, and ecofeminism. He has received research support from the US National Science Foundation.
