Pauline a obtenu son doctorat il y a trois ans à Marseille (France). Elle étudiait alors les mécanismes cellulaires et génétiques à l’origine de la forme des ailes chez la mouche de vinaigre : la drosophile. Durant son post-doctorat, elle a enfin décidé de suivre sa passion en étudiant rejoignant la communauté de la biologie marine et en étudiant le développement des poissons coralliens dans le laboratoire du professeur Vincent Laudet à la station de biologie marine de Banyuls-Sur-Mer. Ses recherches portent sur l’étude des mécanismes développementaux à l’origine de la myriade de couleurs et de motifs chez les poissons coralliens.
