Dr Meshram's research is predominantly in the area of marketplace discrimination with focus on modern slavery, consumer vulnerability and case based discrimination. She has expertise in multi-research methods from casual modeling to narrative research and natural language processing for big data analysis. She is particularly interested in linguistic theorisation of marketing phenomenon to understand how language drives market behaviours.
Prior to being an academic, Kanika worked as a brand consultant with Morris Hargreaves McIntyre and Brand Matters.
