Simon leads the analysis in ClimateWorks’ Sustainable Economies system. He has authored reports on COVID-19 economic recovery and state government policy, as well as on infrastructure and transport.
Simon has also worked at the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) at the University of New South Wales, where he analysed long-term economic indicators and authored reports on topics such as Australia's retirement income system and the economic implications of dementia.
Simon holds a first-class Honours degree in Economics from UNSW, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Writing from the University of Queensland.
