Julie's background as a fashion retail buyer within the clothing industry has spanned 20 years across a variety of retailer organisations. Julie was a Senior Buyer within international fashion trading companies managing both Trainee Buyers and numerous assistants across retail, e-commerce and mail-order businesses.
This industry background, has enabled Julie to bring her vast experience into the classroom as a Senior Lecturer and has enabled the students journey be as close to reality as possible. Julie has taught at all levels from Foundation to Masters, with subjects spanning Fashion Buying, Marketing, Enterprise, People Management and Supply Chain Management. In addition to her teaching she is a Programme Leader, Personal Tutor Lead, Year Manager and a Unit Leader.
