I am a research economist at the University of Michigan. I have specialized in labor market analysis, especially local labor markets. Most of my current funding comes from the Michigan Department of Transportation, and Oakland County Michigan government. I have in the past received funding from numerous government and non-profit organizations, including the Michigan Departments of Commerce, Labor and Treasury, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, Wayne County Michigan government, and Sarasota County Florida government.
