Carl Grodach is Foundation Professor and Director of Urban Planning & Design and Director of the Monash Urban Lab at Monash University. His research areas include community and economic development, cultural planning, and precinct-level urban revitalisation. He is co-editor of The Politics of Urban Cultural Policy: Global Perspectives (Routledge, 2013) and co-author of Urban Revitalization: Remaking Cities in a Changing World (Routledge, 2016). His work has been funded by the Australian Research Council, City of Melbourne, CRC for Water Sensitive Cities, US National Endowment for the Arts, New York Community Trust, and the Government of Canada.
