Les recherches d'Anne Gombault portent sur l’identité, le comportement et la stratégie des organisations artistiques culturelles et créatives, dont les musées, le patrimoine, le tourisme et les régions créatives. Elle a mené des travaux pour différentes institutions et organisations dont l’Union Européenne, des ministères, des régions, des villes, des grands musées en France et en Europe. Ses travaux sont publiés en France et à l’international. Elle travaille sur le musée du Louvre depuis sa thèse sur la stratégie du Grand Louvre en 2000 et une étude sur le « très Grand Louvre » au moment de la Présidence d’Henry Loyrette pendant le lancement du projet d’Abu Dhabi, de telle sorte qu’elle dispose d’importantes données sur l’histoire organisationnelle du musée. Elle a notamment contribué à l’ouvrage en 3 tomes «Histoire du Louvre» que le musée a publié en 2016.
Anne Gombault’s research covers the identity, behavior and strategy of cultural and creative artistic organizations, including museums, heritage, tourism and creative regions. She has worked for various institutions and organizations including the European Union, government ministries, regions, cities, and major museums in France and Europe. Her work has been published in France and abroad. She has worked on the Louvre Museum since completing her thesis on the Grand Louvre strategy in 2000 and carried out a study on the “Très Grand Louvre” during the presidency of Henri Loyrette when the Abu Dhabi project was launched. She therefore has important information on the history of the Museum’s organization. She also contributed to the 3-volume “History of the Louvre”, published by the Museum in 2016.
