PHOENIX, Feb. 22, 2018 -- Yandy.com is slipping into something a little sexy for spring and summer 2018 with the introduction of the ecommerce giant’s new swimwear collection aptly named ‘Modern Tide’ which combines iconic swim styles with a contemporary twist. With a successful swimwear launch in 2017, the latest collection features even more options when it comes to sizes, colors, patterns and silhouettes all with an emphasis on embracing and empowering the Yandy Girl to ‘Own Your Sexy’ – a mantra the e-tailer coined early last year.
“We received such positive feedback from our 2017 collection that I couldn’t wait to start designing this year’s styles,” said VP of Merchandising, Pilar Quintana-Williams. “We’ve really stepped up the design elements to help ensure that the silhouettes flatter and accentuate all types of figures.”
The ‘Modern Tide’ swim collection encompasses 10 smaller capsules all of which are uniquely designed with a modernized ‘90s influence. Sizes run from small through 3X with prices averaging between $40 and $50 for bikinis, one-piece styles and cover ups.
- Who’s Basic – These styles may come in standard colors like black, red, grey and olive green, but the silhouettes are anything but basic. Off the shoulder sleeves, ribbed fabrics, unique cut outs and multiple straps bring the ‘basic’ bikini to a whole new level.
- Don’t Mesh With Me – Mesh is the name of the game in this capsule with sheer paneling, mesh crop top style rash guards and shadow stripes, these styles are versatile and eye catching.
- Swimtimates – This one-of-a-kind capsule combines intimates with swimwear and features delicate lace detailing with inspiration from key lingerie styles.
- Criss Cross Will Make Ya – This stand-out capsule features unique lace-up detailing in every piece.
- Metal on Metal – Wetlook fabrics, metallic accents and piping and rose gold finishes add depth and a touch of edge to these swim styles.
- Swim Team – Inspired by popular active-brand swim styles.
- Senorita – Inspired by Quintana-Williams’ Hispanic background, this collection was created with Latin culture in mind with bold prints, embroidery details and vibrant florals.
- Destination Bride – This assortment is ideal for the bride-to-be with removable veils, pale pinks, lace and pearl accents but is versatile enough to be worn after the honeymoon phase is over.
- All Striped Up – A new take on the “all American” styling, this capsule includes casual fabrics, simple silhouettes and fun, textured stripes.
- Geo Plus – This entire group is dedicated to plus silhouettes and features bold colors, high waisted styles, high necklines, unique mesh inserts and stylish one-pieces.
