Wendy's is offering free foods for the month of December starting this week. The fast-food chain announced it would also offer daily and weekly discounts for purchases throughout the holidays.
Apparently, the new food giveaways and discounts are Wendy's own version of Burger King's 12 Days of Christmas promotion which is also similar to what McDonald's and Popeye's deal for this month.
As per Thrillist, Wendy's will not be following the advent calendar-style approach like its rivals for availing the food discounts and freebies. Rather, the fast-food restaurant will kick off its two-week-long deals where customers can enjoy different offers every week until the first week of January 2022.
Wendy's will be giving its customers free french fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and more. There are also deals where the regular fries could be upgraded to Baconator Fries for less.
Customers can find the deals using Wendy's official mobile app and four deals are available per week. Below are the promos that can be enjoyed from Dec. 6 to Jan. 2.
QSR Magazine mentioned that the first batch of deal options is perfect for the cold weather. The first is offered from Dec. 6 to 12, and it is a buy one, get one Spicy Chicken Sandwich; For Dec. 13 to 19, there is the buy one, get one for Dave's Single; For the third week of Dec. 20 to 26, Wendy's is giving away free small chili with every purchase of food items; and from Dec. 27 to Jan. 2, the fast-food is offering free 6 pieces of nuggets with purchase.
The other deals are centered on Wendy's popular crispy french fries and aptly called the "Hot & Crispy Fries" deals. These are available for orders via the restaurant's app, drive-thru, and in the stores.
For the first week, which is from Dec. 6 to Dec. 12, free fries of any size are given with any purchase then for week two (Dec. 13 – 19), customers can also get free fries with purchase. And finally, Wendy's will be making their customers happy with free Baconator Fries for week three (Dec. 20 – 26) and week four (Dec. 27 – Jan. 2). It should be noted that the freebies require purchase.
