US under Trump Series: Is it going to be NSA vs. FBI?

It has been only little more than two months that the new administration under President Donald Trump got inaugurated formally and it has already been a roller-coaster or whirlwind rise in many ways. Now this new revelation that would be President of the United States was under some form of Surveillance has clearly topped everything else in the list. After days and weeks of decrying against President Donald Trump’s tweet that he was ‘wiretapped’ by the previous administration, the biased media is heading for yet another embarrassment. Here is the link to Devin Nunes’ press conference, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kUcoNTR-0g

Here is something from the above press conference that should make everyone worried. The comments from Mr. Nunes is suggesting that the two most elite intelligence and terror-fighting institutions; the National Security Agency (NSA) headed by Admiral Michael Rogers and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headed by Director James Comey might be heading for a collision. This is concerning because it weakens these institutions and their ability to perform the tasks assigned to them.

Watch Mr. Nunes say repeatedly the different narrative for the NSA and the FBI. He said that NSA has been very helpful and working with the committee to aid the investigation. When asked by a reporter whether it was incidental surveillance or targeted, Mr. Nunes kept the door open for both though as of now he believes that it was incidental and added that he is waiting for further information from the NSA and FBI to be delivered on the coming Friday in response to his March 15th request. In relation to that, he said, “Look I think the NSA is going to comply, I am concerned, yet we don’t know whether or not the FBI is going to comply”.
