Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump is driving agendas, attacking Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over his dishonesty, lying to American people and use of private email server that could have compromised U.S. national security while she was secretary of the state. Recent revelations also show that Mrs. Clinton allegedly has granted favors during her tenure as the secretary to the donors of the Clinton foundation. She has allegedly been charged with ‘pay for play’. The cry has also gone loud, calling for the closing of the Clinton foundation. Former President Bill Clinton announced that he will step down from the board of the Clinton foundation.
Despite all that, polls are still suggesting that Donald Trump is nowhere close in beating Mrs. Clinton. Let’s look at the latest poll numbers,
- Four of last five national polls have given Hillary Clinton a lead in the race to the White House. All of them have given Clinton more than 3 points lead and one poll has given her a 5 points lead. Only one has given Donald Trump a lead of 2 points nationally.
A national average of polls compiled by realclearpolitics.com show that Hillary Clinton is leading Trump nationally by 5.4 points.
