With more than 30 years’ insurance experience, Shader has extensive knowledge in commercial lines insurance, including expertise in analysis, building and running businesses with P&L responsibility, product underwriting and technology oversight.

Prior to joining CopperPoint, Shader was executive vice president at Endurance Express, a commercial lines carrier. Before that, he was executive vice president at Axis Express Solutions, Axis Capital. Prior to Axis, Shader was with the Hanover Insurance Group where he served as president, Small Commercial; chief operations officer, Commercial Lines; and vice president, Small Commercial and Business Development. He also held executive leadership positions with The Willis Group, St. Paul Travelers Companies; and Hartford Financial Services and Insurance Group.
Shader holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and graduated summa cum laude from State University New York (SUNY) in Oswego, N.Y.
