“This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 12 will have Rebecca (Mandy Moore) uncover the secrets that Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) has been hiding from her all these years. The third installment’s mid-season finale finally got Nicky (Michael Angarano/Griffin Dunne) and the rest of his family to meet.
It goes without saying that Nicky has some catching up to do. Indeed, he didn’t even know that Jack is dead for a good two decades. So in “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 12, Nicky and Rebecca will sit down and talk about the past that haunted Jack all those years, Express reported.
While it’s been revealed to audiences the reason why Jack kept his life during the war a secret, Rebecca is still in the dark. So “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 12 is a great opportunity for the character to explore this side of her husband’s life. And with the recounting being unveiled by Nicky himself, audiences should expect emotion-filled scenes during this storyline.
Indeed, executive producer Elizabeth Berger has already hinted at this meeting and its impact on the plot moving forward. “Obviously, it’s incredibly loaded and it’s incredibly emotional for [Rebecca]. Other than being on this quest for answers, she’s also just sitting with someone who’s a link to her past in a way that she’s never experienced before,” Berger said. Meanwhile, Tess’ (Eris Baker) revelation about her sexuality and the subsequent events that will follow might possibly be featured in “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 12.
Tess coming out was one of the most brilliantly executed scenes this installment and it’s expected that the same level of portrayal will make its way in the coming weeks. As for the release date of “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 12, it’s been scheduled to drop on Feb. 5, Elite Daily reported. The mid-season premiere was originally planned to air on Jan. 29 but was moved due to Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech.
