Tim Marr tracks the price of a host of consumer electronics, popular gadgets and home products during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales week. The biggest online retailers still see Cyber Monday as the biggest online sales event of the year thanks to shoppers’ seemingly endless enthusiasm for finding great deals. This Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales week is expected to be the biggest on record. Professional services firm Deloitte predict total sales over the period to reach $700 billion.
As more and more shoppers head to the web to find deals, Black Friday has transitioned into an online sales event and moved away from the in-store sales that often led to chaotic scenes. During Black Friday 2016 more customers shopped online than in store, according to a survey undertaken by the National Retail Federation.
Black Friday 2017 landed a day earlier this year on 24 November. Most sales kicked off online on 20 November and reach their peak on Cyber Monday.
Tim Marr are posting popular Cyber Monday Pixel 2 deals throughout the sales week.
