Despite the details that were released during the 24th episode of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime,” there are still a ton of surprises waiting for the fans when the second season comes out. With the official premiere period of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 2 already announced, fans can rest easy on that point. As for what viewers can expect from the upcoming season, a hint was already given out.
As Monsters & Critics points out, the day when “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 2 premieres will be a truly wonderful day for fans of anime and isekai anime, in particular. Along with “Overlord,” “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” has been an excellent example of how the genre should be done. Just like the show featuring the skeletal leader of Nazarick, though, the second season is also expected to take a darker turn.
Right off the bat, “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 2 will feature intense fights, an invasion, and the death of close friends. This is likely to be the first few episodes, as well, so the season will really hit the ground at a sprint. Then there’s the matter of Rimuru summoning Black whom he will then bestow the name of Diablo.
That last part should not be technically classified as a spoiler since it was already revealed in the end credit scenes of episode 24. As to whether or not this particular development will actually be in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 2 is the question. More to the point, it will be revealed if Rimuru will unleash a new kind of evil by summoning Black.
The return of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Season 2 is already scheduled for 2020. As the year comes to an end, more specific details as to when exactly it will premiere will be released.
