Huntington Station, NY, May 31, 2017 -- Teq (http://www.teq.com) will hold a second Ed Tech in Focus, a free event where New Jersey educators will learn strategies for pairing SMART Boards and Chromebooks to enable student success. Following the success of the first Ed Tech in Focus on May 5th, Teq will once again pair with Fortune 500 company CDW-G and the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ). The PD event is hosted by Gloucester Township Public Schools, and all New Jersey public and private schools are invited to attend.
The event will be held on June 22nd at the Ann A. Mullen Middle School in Sicklerville, NJ, and is expected to host over 80 teachers and administrators from New Jersey schools. Attendees will participate in five unique professional development (PD) sessions exploring how to leverage Chromebooks in the classroom by combining them with SMART software including SMART amp™, SMART Notebook®, SMART lab™, and SMART iQ Technology, as well as introduce attendees new STEAM solutions, and Teq Online and Onsite PD.
Sessions will be hosted by Teq's team of PD Specialists, all of whom are state-certified educators. On hand again will be former Superintendent and Teq Chief Learning Officer, Robert-Wayne Harris.
"After the tremendous success of our first Ed Tech Conference in Piscataway, NJ, we believe that this is a great way for school district administrators and decision makers to preview our state-of-the-art classroom technology," said Robert. "Here, they can discuss the benefits the technology has on teaching and learning, and have their questions and concerns addressed in real time by Teq Professional Development Specialists who can speak directly to the integration of our hardware and software in the classroom.”
Space at the Ed Tech in Focus event is limited. To see how SMART and Chromebooks work together to create new levels of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork, register for Ed Tech in Focus at http://www.teq.com/eventsignup/.
