‘Supergirl’ season 2’s episode 11, titled “The Martian Chronicles,” will follow Kara and Hank as they take on a new shape-shifting Martian threat going after M’gann. Armek is set on to taking her back to Mars to undergo trial for treason.
The synopsis for “The Martian Chronicles” posted on TV Guide reads, “Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M'gann (guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor.
Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M'gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M'gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.”
The upcoming episode is bound to be an action-packed one as Hank and Kara struggle to protect M’gann from Armek, who has arrived in National City to take her back to Mars. There, M’gann will have to face punishment for treachery.
Things will not turn out so easy for Hank and Kara when they discover that Armek has taken on a disguise while hiding out in the building. It seems that the two will have to tread carefully in order to prevent killing or subduing any innocents by accident.
According to Christian Post, Hank and Kara decide to bring M’gann to the DEO to keep her safe but it seems that they have unwittingly underestimated the scope of Armek’s power. The antagonist will transform into M’gann and let them lead him into the building, where he will run loose and possibly shape-shift into someone else.
The promo shows the team struggling to see through the White Martian’s deception as they are confined in the building. The trap set up to capture the antagonist will inadvertently put everyone else in danger.
‘Supergirl’ season 2’s episode 11, titled "The Martian Chronicles," is scheduled to air on The CW on February 6, 2017. It was directed by David McWhirter and written y Gabriel Llanas and Anna Musky-Goldwyn. It will be followed by episode 12, titled "Luthors," scheduled for February 13.
