‘Star Wars: Episode 9’ Release Date, Spoilers: Interesting New Character Confirmed by Leaked Filming Set Details?

“Star Wars: Episode 9” is more than a year away from its official release date but a possibly major plot leak was revealed recently. It has something to do with the inclusion of a character to be portrayed by a new cast member.

Actress Naomi Ackie is one of the new actors joining the franchise in “Star Wars: Episode 9.” But since her participation in the film was announced, fans have yet to gather a clue on what character she is going to portray. However, Redditor u/Temirblagg1 might have the answer to that.

The Reddit user claimed they were a movie extra and has filmed at least two scenes for “Star Wars: Episode 9" at Pinewood Studios. Temirblagg1 claimed they joined a scene where they play as a “guerilla militia” staying at a “secret type of bunker on the planet of Batuu.”

“We are trying to keep under the nose of the first order. The architecture is magnificent and will be a real visual treat for viewers,” the “Star Wars: Episode 9” tipster added.

Then, Temirblagg1 further claimed that the scene they participated in also included Poe (Oscar Isaac), Finn (John Boyega), and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) escorted by several members of the resistance. They added that actor Dominic Monaghan was also in the same “Star Wars: Episode 9” scene and wore a “very cool costume.”

However, the bigger surprise in this particular scene is most likely Ackie’s role, which Temirblagg1 confirmed to be Lando Calrissian’s (Billy Dee Williams, Donald Glover) daughter, Veranda. The “Star Wars: Episode 9” extra added that Veranda and Dom Monaghan “seem to be more in leadership roles” even though the group they represent does not really fancy an organized leadership or hierarchy.

If the Reddit post contains an accurate information that would make it into the final cut of “Star Wars: Episode 9,” this is a huge twist in what was the initially rumored role of Ackie. Inverse recalled that many fans previously thought the actress will take on a character of an alien prodigy serving like a tour guide for protagonists exploring places they have never visited before. While these bits of alleged leaked plot details of “Star Wars: Episode 9” is really interesting, it is still best to take this claims with a pinch of salt until the movie comes out on Dec. 20, 2019.
