SEATTLE, Nov. 16, 2017 -- Skilljar, a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) platform for enterprises and their customers, announced today the successful completion of its Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II audit by an independent CPA firm.
The audit is designed to assure existing and prospective customers, business partners, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders that Skilljar adheres to the standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) regarding data security. The SOC 2 Type II report must occur over a period of time to demonstrate consistency of practice and process.
