BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 12, 2018 -- Shipt, a leading online marketplace, today announced they will begin same-day delivery of an assortment of groceries and home essentials with two major retailers across Louisiana and Mississippi. Beginning April 26, Shipt will deliver from Target and Rouses stores in the Bayou area and New Orleans’ North Shore, La. and Biloxi/Gulfport, Miss.
Cumulatively, the new partnership gives nearly 280,000 households across Louisiana and Mississippi access to products at Target and Rouses delivered by Shipt in as little as one hour. Shipt members will be able to shop fresh foods and household essentials from Target and Rouses, in addition to items such as home goods, electronics, toys and other products from Target. To celebrate the launch, new members who sign up prior to launch will receive an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).
