BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 17, 2018 -- Shipt, a leading online marketplace, today announced they will begin same-day delivery of an assortment of groceries and home essentials with six retailers across Utah. Beginning May 1, Shipt will deliver from Target stores and a number of stores owned by Associated Food Stores (AFS) including Dick’s Market, Dan’s, Macey’s, Fresh Market and The Honey Bee Produce Company. The service will be available in Ogden, Provo and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Cumulatively, the new partnership gives over 3 million households across Utah access to products delivered by Shipt in as little as one hour. Shipt members will be able to shop fresh foods and household essentials from Associated Food Stores and Target, in addition to items such as home goods, electronics, toys and other products from Target. To celebrate the announcement, new members who sign up prior to launch will receive an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).
