Prom of Champions hosts a prom among other events for New Orleans-area patients battling cancer and blood disorders. This year, the event will be opened up to patients all over Louisiana.
The evening will resemble any other high school prom and will include unique experiences, like limousine escorts, dancing and the election of a prom king and queen. This year’s event is set to take place on April 14 at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans with an Under the Sea theme.
“We are excited to be part of such a great event,” said Dan Haight, Chief Executive Officer at Shindigz. “Every teenager deserves to have an amazing prom, and these young people are especially deserving as they have faced immense challenges and remain incredibly positive and optimistic.”
The aquarium will be decorated with themed products from Shindigz.
As a premiere prom supplier for more than 90 years, Shindigz was honored to participate in this important experience.
Shindigz has contributed to numerous special events this year. In February of this year, 75,000 guests attended various Night to Shine Proms, which are hosted by the Tim Tebow Foundation and were supported by Shindigz. The company participates in several other charity events, including monthly birthday parties with the Confetti Foundation and “off chemo” celebrations at a local children’s hospital.
“Our brands Stumps Party and Shindigz give us an incredible opportunity to make every party and prom more spectacular. We feel very fortunate to be able to help,” said Haight.
