WASHINGTON, Feb. 3, 2016 -- SevenTwenty Strategies today announced it has been named public relations agency of record for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners™ (AANP), the voice for the nation's 205,000-plus nurse practitioners (NPs). As the organization centralizes its paid and earned media programs under one agency, SevenTwenty will lead advertising, public relations and strategic communications for AANP.
"AANP and SevenTwenty Strategies have worked tirelessly together to execute important integrated communications campaigns that promote the pivotal role of the nurse practitioner in America's health care system and the importance of expanding patient access to their provider of choice. We look forward to strengthening our partnership and leveraging their media relations expertise to spread the message far and wide that NPs provide high-quality, affordable access to patient-centered care," said David Hebert, CEO, AANP.
"Nurse practitioners are essential to meeting the current challenges of our health care system – from the rising cost of care to the growing burden of chronic disease," Pam Fielding, president of SevenTwenty Strategies, said. "We are proud to work with AANP to help shape their story and the future of health care delivery in the US."
AANP is the largest professional membership organization for nurse practitioners (NPs) of all specialties. It represents the interests of more than 205,000 NPs, including more than 66,000 individual members and 200 organizations, providing a unified networking platform and advocating for their role as providers of high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive, patient-centered and personalized health care.
