- Securonix positioned furthest to the right for completeness of vision in this Magic Quadrant
- Vendors’ evaluation based on completeness of vision and ability to execute
Securonix, the industry leader in big data security analytics and user entity behavior analytics (UEBA) solutions, today announced that Securonix achieved furthest placement for its completeness of vision, and has been named a Visionary in the Gartner 2017 Magic Quadrant For Security Information and Event Management [Get the Report Here] for Securonix SNYPR, its Next-Gen SIEM and Security Analytics platform. This is Securonix’s inaugural placement in the report.
SNYPR Next-Gen SIEM is built on a Hadoop Big Data platform and utilizes a complete big data infrastructure stack, including Kafka, Spark and HDFS for ingestion, real-time enrichment, in-memory analytics, and long-term storage. Securonix pioneered, and has integrated user entity behavior analytics into its Next-Gen SIEM. By using supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, Securonix customers are able to analyze vast amounts of machine data, and pin-point critical security threats that legacy rule-based solutions often miss. In addition, SNYPR Next-Gen SIEM has auxiliary security management functions like threat hunting, link analysis, and security automation and orchestration built directly into the solution, giving SOC analysts a single pane of glass from which they can perform all the tasks necessary to detect, investigate, and mitigate advanced cyber threats.
"We are thrilled with the recognition by Gartner. To achieve such a position for our debut in this Magic Quadrant is a validation of our vision to transform the Security Monitoring landscape using modern machine learning on a big data platform,” said Sachin Nayyar, CEO and Founder of Securonix. “As the cyber threat gets more sophisticated, organizations are struggling with scarcity of skilled resources, and the escalating cost of collecting data. To adapt to these modern challenges, Securonix has introduced a SaaS offering with Securonix Cloud to provide customers an elastic solution that can be instantly deployed and is fully managed, ensuring you are protected against current and future advanced threats.”
Securonix Next-Gen SIEM provides end-to-end SOC management capabilities including traditional security and compliance use cases, user entity behavior analytics (UEBA), Spotter threat hunting framework, automated incident management and a variety of Securonix Apps based on industry or regulatory requirements. Securonix also provides a comprehensive set of bi-directional integrations, partnerships and capabilities, including endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), cloud access security (CASB), identity and access management (IAM) as well as industry specific coverage.
