SatoshiLabs partners with Tech Bureau to promote TREZOR bitcoin hardware wallet in Japan

SatoshiLabs, a Prague-based Bitcoin hardware wallet manufacturer, has entered into an alliance with Tech Bureau Corp., a Japan-based blockchain solutions company and operator of bitcoin exchange Zaif, to support the sales and promotion of TREZOR in Japan.

TREZOR is a well known and one of the most trusted bitcoin hardware wallet by SatoshiLabs. Launched in 2014, TREZOR has gained great popularity in almost 100 countries worldwide and received recommendations from security experts as well as its users.

“We at SatoshiLabs are thrilled to have such a partner for Japan. We have seen a significant increase in popularity of TREZOR in Japan recently and this step will ensure a high quality support and easy availability of our product to Japanese Bitcoiners”, Alena Vranova, CEO of SatoshiLabs said. “Mr. Asayama’s company is a great help for TREZOR in reaching the main Japanese marketplaces such as Amazon Japan or Rakuten.”

Designed specifically to protect bitcoin and valuable digital assets, the device generates private keys in its secure offline environment in order to sign transactions without ever exposing the private keys to digital threats such as bitcoin stealing malware. TREZOR has implemented several innovative security measures and offers ease of use to everyone without the need of advanced computer skills.

SatoshiLabs is gradually expanding the use of TREZOR’s proven security to a broader spectrum of digital life. Its brand new TREZOR Password Manager allows users store and manage multiple passwords in their private cloud storage. It utilizes TREZOR’s strong encryption technology to protect the login credentials against theft and misuse.

Under the agreement, Tech Bureau will become an official TREZOR distributor in Japan, contribute to the localization of the TREZOR Password Manager and introduce TREZOR as a password protection device for its future products and services. It will provide localized translations of TREZOR’s online wallet mytrezor.com, its manual and contents. Moreover, the company will also offer customer support for its Japanese clients.

“I am happy to take part in the popularization of TREZOR in Japan, as its official distributor. The SatoshiLabs hardware wallet became synonymous with protecting Bitcoin on other major platforms. I am confident we will achieve similar results in Japan very soon”, Takao Asayama, CEO of Tecu Bureau said.

Tech Bureau is also working on integrating TREZOR as a second factor authentication for Zaif. In addition to offering much safer login method, this integration will introduce a hassle-free transfer method of Bitcoins between Zaif’s wallet and TREZOR’s robust “offline vault”.
