“Salt for Dummies” book now available

The ever popular “for Dummies” series of books, a Wiley brand, now has a new edition dedicated to explaining the many benefits of salt in our daily lives. “Salt for Dummies” is a friendly and easy to read guide to all things salt. Readers can find out what it’s made of, where it comes from, how it’s used, how it affects your health, and more.

In the “Salt 101” section, readers can discover the basics of salt, including how it’s used in food safety and production, agriculture, road safety, and home maintenance. This includes how salt can help your home’s plumbing and appliances work more efficiently.
