Consumer complaints about women’s dresses increased by 46.1 percent and accommodations went up 36.9 percent in April as outdoor activities increased sales of those products.
Complaints about fashion goods were mostly about shipping fees due to requested refunds for defective products.
Other than women's dresses, there was also a 31 percent increase in complaints on T-shirts.
Complaints about accommodations were related to reservations for hotels.
Inquiries related to financial products also soared over the last month, with the total number of complaints up 142.5 percent on-year. Most were about international transactions and smishing texts.
There were a total of 50,193 calls were made to the Korea Consumer Agency's call center in April, down 4.4 percent from the previous month.
