NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Feb. 07, 2018 -- Roosters Men’s Grooming Center (MGC) in New Albany opened with ample time to prep guys for Valentine’s Day. Opened in January, the new store provides modern grooming services for men and boys in combination with the experience and camaraderie of an old fashioned barbershop.
Soon after opening its doors for business, Roosters MGC held a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting in partnership with the New Albany Chamber of Commerce. This is the second store for owners Sumeet and Monica Pahouja, who opened the first Roosters MGC in the Columbus area five years ago.
When asked about what makes Roosters different, Sumeet responds, “Our team of barbers and stylists is professionally trained to ensure that each customer visit is special, no matter what the day or the occasion. It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day.”
Roosters MGC offers a wide variety of custom grooming services include precision haircuts and shaves with hot steam towels, deep cleansing facial massages, and moisturizing lotions. In addition, the New Albany store carries Kevin Murphy hair products and Edwin Jagger skin care products and shaving accessories.
During the month of February in celebration of its grand opening, Roosters’ customers, who get the popular Roosters Club haircut can select from any of three free services, including the 7 step facial shave, beard trim or the color camo, which blends in gray hair.
Roosters MGC also welcomes the opportunity to partner with local businesses and organizations in the community. Part of the proceeds from services provided during the grand opening celebration were donated to the New Albany Food Pantry to help feed hungry children and families in need.
The Pahoujas, who are long time Ohio residents, look forward to developing more partnerships with local businesses and organizations in New Albany.
Located at 5531 New Albany Road in the New Albany Market, Roosters MGC is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. To schedule an appointment or purchase a gift card, call 614-245-8525. Walk-ins are always welcome.
