SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 11, 2017 -- Restoration Robotics, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAIR), announced today that Mark L. Hair will join the Company as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 5, 2018. Mr. Hair brings with him over 20 years of executive management, financial advisory, consulting, and public company experience.
Ryan Rhodes, Chief Executive Officer of Restoration Robotics, said, “I am extremely pleased to welcome Mark and to add such an experienced executive to our team as we continue to expand our U.S. and international sales and distribution infrastructure, enhance our marketing initiatives, drive incremental regulatory approvals, and further invest in new and existing R&D initiatives to support future growth. Mark’s executive leadership and corporate finance experience in the medical device space, and specifically within the aesthetics space at ZELTIQ, make him well equipped to help guide Restoration Robotics through this period of commercial expansion as a public company. Most recently, Mr. Hair served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at ZELTIQ Aesthetics, a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products utilizing its proprietary controlled-cooling technology platform. At ZELTIQ, Mr. Hair was responsible for managing the Company’s global Accounting organization and helped to lead ZELTIQ’s due diligence activities for Allergan Inc.’s $2.5 billion acquisition of the Company in April 2017. Prior to ZELTIQ, Mr. Hair served as Vice President of Finance at Accuray Inc., as a private consultant for St. Jude Medical, and as Vice President & Corporate Controller at Thoratec Corporation. Mr. Hair received a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Mr. Hair succeeds Charlotte Holland, who is stepping down from her role as Chief Financial Officer and will assist in the leadership transition. Mr. Rhodes added, “I would also like to thank Charlotte for her dedication to the Company and for her valuable contributions in helping to guide Restoration Robotics through our initial public offering which we completed in October 2017. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
